21 year old vines, machine-harvested. Matured for 1 month in French oak (32% new). There’s a world of difference between this wine and its junior sibling. This is full-bodied and dense, with spice, pepper and licorice twinned with deep-seated blackberry, black cherry and a generous serve of French oak. The cork suggests some is headed for foreign shores.
